1. Introduction and Acceptance
Welcome to Impactia. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your use of the public SaaS platform, which facilitates the discovery of professionals, event management, ticketing, and subscription services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services. Impactia reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2. Data Exposure and User Consent
As a public directory and event platform, Impactia fundamentally relies on the exposure of professional data. By creating a profile, you explicitly consent to the public display of your provided information, including names, biographies, photographs, professional statistics, and contact modalities. You retain ownership of your content but grant Impactia a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display this content to facilitate platform operations.
3. Personal Data Management and 'Right to be Forgotten'
We take your privacy seriously. Impactia complies with international data protection regulations. Users have full control over their personal data. You may update your information at any time. Furthermore, you have the right to request the complete deletion of your data from our active databases ('Right to be Forgotten'). Upon receiving a verified deletion request, Impactia will purge your profile, associated metrics, and PII within 30 days, except where retention is legally required for financial or compliance audits.
4. Tickets and Services Sales
Impactia facilitates the sale of event tickets and professional services. When purchasing a ticket or booking a service, the transaction is processed securely through our authorized payment gateways. Impactia acts as an intermediary. Organizers and professionals are solely responsible for the delivery of the event or service. Refunds for tickets or services are subject to the specific cancellation policies set by the respective Organizer or Professional, clearly displayed at the time of purchase.
5. Subscription Management
Certain premium features for Professionals and Companies require a recurring subscription. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your billing dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds are provided for unused time. Impactia reserves the right to suspend accounts with failed payments after a 14-day grace period.
6. Acceptable Use and Platform Integrity
You agree to use Impactia solely for lawful professional networking and event management. You shall not engage in data scraping, malicious interference, or the uploading of fraudulent content. Organizers must not misrepresent their events, and Professionals must accurately reflect their credentials. Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination without refund.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Impactia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to canceled events, disputes between Organizers and Professionals, or loss of data. Our total liability in any matter related to the service is limited to the total fees paid by you to Impactia in the 12 months preceding the claim.
